The short version

1. Accepting these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of leadfarmer.deals and our API (the “Service”), operated by Leadfarmer, LLC. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and is part of these terms.

2. What Leadfarmer is

Leadfarmer is a price comparison and search service for ammunition, suppressors, magazines and reloading components. We collect prices published by third-party retailers, organise them, and link you to the retailer's own website.

We are not a seller. We do not sell, ship, transfer, store or take payment for ammunition, firearms, suppressors or any other regulated item. Every purchase is a transaction between you and the retailer. We are not a party to it.

This means we cannot help with orders, payments, shipping, damaged goods, returns or refunds. Those are matters for the retailer you bought from.

3. No vetting or endorsement

We do not vet, investigate, endorse or vouch for any retailer listed on this site. A retailer appearing here is not a recommendation, a guarantee of their legitimacy, licensing, solvency or service quality, or any assurance that they will fulfil your order.

Retailers' websites, policies, prices and inventory can change at any time and without notice to us. That may affect our ability to obtain accurate information, or any information at all. Satisfy yourself about who you are buying from before you buy.

4. Pricing and availability

Prices, stock levels, shipping costs, product specifications and images shown here are collected from retailer feeds and public listings. They are snapshots, and they go out of date. A price shown here may already have changed.

The retailer's own website is always the authority. We make no representation that any price, quantity, specification or availability shown on Leadfarmer is current, complete or correct, and we are not responsible for inaccurate product information displayed here.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. No retailer is obliged to honour a price shown here.

5. Affiliate disclosure

Leadfarmer earns commissions. Some links from this site to retailers carry a tracking code. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission. This costs you nothing extra — you pay the same price you would have paid going direct.

We disclose this because honest disclosure is required and because you are entitled to know how we are paid. Commission arrangements do not determine how results are ordered: results follow the sort and filters you choose. We also list retailers we earn nothing from.

6. Eligibility and legal compliance

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to view this content to use the Service, and you must meet whatever age and eligibility requirements apply to any purchase you make from a retailer — which for many products is higher than 18.

Complying with the law is your responsibility. Federal, state, county and municipal laws on the purchase, possession and transfer of ammunition, magazines and suppressors differ enormously and change often. Suppressors are additionally regulated under the National Firearms Act and require ATF approval and a transfer through a licensed dealer.

We do not verify your eligibility, your jurisdiction, or whether an item is lawful where you live. Listings appear regardless of local restrictions. Before buying anything, confirm it is legal for you to own where you are.

Nothing on this site is legal advice. That includes the ATF Wait Tracker, which reports what other people have voluntarily said about their own applications. It is not a prediction, a guarantee, or guidance about your own application.

7. Your account

You do not need an account to search. If you create one:

  • Give accurate information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your password secret, and turn on two-factor authentication if you can.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • One person, one account. Do not share credentials or transfer your account.

You may delete your account at any time from your account page.

8. Content you submit

Where the Service lets you submit content — most notably ATF wait times — you agree that:

  • What you submit is truthful and your own experience. Deliberately false submissions distort a dataset other people rely on.
  • You will not include personal information about yourself or anyone else, including names, addresses, serial numbers or ATF form numbers.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and publish that content as part of the Service, including in aggregate statistics.

Wait-time submissions are deliberately not linked to your account, so we cannot identify or remove an individual submission after the fact. We may remove content that appears false, abusive or in breach of these terms.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-copy the Service or its data, or use automated means to access it, without our written permission.
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or any technical restriction.
  • Resell, redistribute or republish our data as a competing product.
  • Interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or system.
  • Use the Service to break the law, or to facilitate an unlawful acquisition or transfer.
  • Submit false, misleading, abusive or automated content.

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please tell us at contact form before disclosing it publicly.

10. Retailer & advertiser terms

This section applies in addition to everything above if you apply to be listed as a retailer, or buy advertising. It is the Leadfarmer Retailer Terms of Service referred to on our retailer application form.

Listing

  • You confirm you are authorised to represent the business you are applying for, and that it holds the licences required for what it sells.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the product data you supply, whether by feed or manually — prices, availability, specifications, images and links.
  • You grant us permission to retrieve, store, reformat and display that data, and to use your business name and logo to identify your listings.
  • Listing is at our discretion. We may decline an application, and we may remove or suspend a listing at any time — including for inaccurate pricing, misleading content, broken feeds, or conduct that harms our users.
  • You will keep your feed reachable and reasonably current. Feeds that fail persistently may be disabled.

Advertising

  • Advertising placements are subject to availability and to our approval of the creative.
  • We may reject or remove advertising that is misleading, unlawful, or inconsistent with the Service.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Fees, placement and duration are as agreed at the time of purchase.
  • Advertising does not buy placement in search results. Paid placements are labelled as such.

Ending a listing

Either of us may end a listing at any time. On termination we will stop displaying your listings within a reasonable period. Prepaid advertising that has not run will be handled as agreed at purchase.

11. Intellectual property

The Leadfarmer name, logo, site design, written content and the compiled arrangement of our data are owned by Leadfarmer, LLC and protected by law. Product names, brands, logos and images belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only.

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy the Service's design or republish its compiled data without permission.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that the information shown is accurate, complete or current. Your use of the Service is at your own risk, and your mileage may vary.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leadfarmer, LLC and its officers, members and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service — whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and even if we were advised such damages were possible.

We are specifically not liable for anything arising from your dealings with a retailer, including non-delivery, defective or misdescribed goods, pricing errors, payment disputes, or a retailer's failure to comply with the law.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leadfarmer, LLC and its officers, members and employees from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of anyone's rights.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these terms or where necessary to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service, and delete your account, at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification — will do so.

16. Changes

We may change the Service or these terms. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified on the site or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Anoka County, Minnesota, and both of us consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be applied as closely as possible to its original intent. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
